Oahe Dam, SD

Oahe Dam, one of six main projects along the Missouri River, forms the fourth-largest reservoir in the United States. The dam measures 9,300 feet across and has a maximum height of 245 feet. Power plant tours are available from Labor Day to Memorial Day, beginning from the dam's visitor center.
