St. Basil's Church, SD

This Catholic church was built on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in 1917. The church and cemetary are familiar landmarks. The site has long been visited by artists and photographers, and there are numerous paintings and photos of the "Little Prairie Church" throughout the country.
