Springhill Road Scenic Drive, FL

This scenic drive reenters the Apalachicola National Forest— one of the largest contiguous blocks of public land east of the Mississippi River— at the site of the historic mill town of Helen and winds up and down through the forest in a canopy-like setting. This drive offers an excellent opportunity to view fox squirrel, Florida pine snake, and Turkey.
