  • Banks Lake

    Banks Lake (WA)

    Banks Lake is a 28-mile-long reservoir used for irrigation water in the Columbia Basin. The lake is known for its great boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, and swimming. Annual bass tournaments are held on a marina used for walleye fishing.

  • Columbia National Wildlife Refuge

    Columbia National Wildlife Refuge (WA)

    Trails wind through habitat for coyotes, mallards, woodland critters, mule deer, bobcats and badgers.

  • Colville Tribal Museum (WA)

    The Colville Confederated Tribal Museum tells the story of the 12 Tribes of the Reservation.

    On Highway 155 at Coulee Dam on the Okanogan County side of the Columbia turn north onto Mead Way. Go about one quarter mile and the Museum will be on your left. Address is 512 Mead Way.

  • Coulee City (WA)

    A gateway to the Coulee Corridor Scenic Byway, Coulee City is a small town in Grant County. Each year the city hosts the Last Stand Rodeo.

  • Coulee Corridor Visitor Center/Cariboo Trail Art Gallery

    Coulee Corridor Visitor Center/Cariboo Trail Art Gallery (WA)

    This is a gem among all gems along the byway. The Visitor Center shares an office with Don Nutt, who is a natural and western artist who captures the natural landscapes of the byway in his art.

  • Coulee Dam (WA)

    The town of Coulee Dam is rich in the history of the building of the Coulee Dam. The city features the Dam's Visitor Center, a bridge and walking museum.

  • Dry Falls

    Dry Falls (WA)

    At 400 feet high and 3.5 miles wide, Dry Falls stands as a silent testimony to the power of the Ice Age Floods.

    Directions:

    Turn south of US-2 onto WA-17, and drive to the visitor center which is in sight of the highway, on the east side.

  • Dry Falls Visitor Interpretive Center

    Dry Falls Visitor Interpretive Center (WA)

    Dry Falls was created when the glacial Lake Missoula, which covered much of the area known as Western Montana, overflowed its ice dam.
