Nespelem/Chief Joseph Memorial Site, WA

After the Indian wars, the exiled remainder of the Chief Joseph Band settled on the Colville Reservation. Cheif Joseph lived here until he died in 1904. A framed historical marker sits along the right hand side of Hwy 155 in the town of Nespelem.
