  • Colville National Forest

    The Colville National Forest covers 1.1 million protected acres of Ponderosa Pine Country. Rolling hills and valleys strewn with rivers cover this area in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

  • Newport

    Newport (WA)

    Newport features a charming downtown great for walking, highlighted by the Pend Oreille County Historical Museum and Centennial Plaza with exhibits of local timber, agriculture, and railroad heritage.

    Approximately 48 miles northeast of Spokane, Washington.

  • Pend Oreille River

    Pend Oreille River (WA)

    This rugged river is one of the few US rivers to wind its way northward into Canada. The river contributes approximately 1/3 of the Columbia River's volume.
