Special Considerations

Categorized as a Type I Back Country Byway, this route is easily navigated by most passenger vehicles, with 56 miles of gravel and 10 miles of paved road. Portions of the road can be rough and require high clearance vehicles.

Restrictions

The road may be closed in early fall due to inclement weather.
