Special Considerations

This road is classified as a Type I road. The road is mainly paved with only three miles of improved gravel. The byway is open year-round but may have unexpected closures due to snow in the winter.

The road may occasionally close due to snow. An average of 120 inches of rain and snow occur between November and March. Check local weather forecasts before driving.
