Special Considerations

Chimney Peak is a Type II Back Country Byway. Take a high clearance vehicle and expect slow speeds on narrow, secondary roads.

Restrictions

Currently the section between Rockhouse basin trailhead to Chimney peak is closed. The section between Lamont meadows to Rockhouse basin trailhead is 4-wheel-drive only.
