Driving the Byway
Driving the Byway:
- Begin at Fort Churchill State Historic Park, located 7 miles south of Silver Springs NV along US 95/US 95A.
- Drive west on Nevada State Route 2B for 21 miles. This road follows the route of the Pony Express National Historic Trail.
- Turn south at Dayton and drive 29 miles through the Pine Nut Mountains, above Eldorado Canyon, and through the Como Mining District.
- Drop down to Wellington on Nevada State Route 208.
