Most camping grounds within the area include sites for tents, recreational vehicles (with a dump station), or trailers. Most of them have designated areas to have a campfire with tables. You can find several areas for picnicking along the Carson River Banks that are furnished with tables, grills, and restrooms. The majority of the camping sites are on a first-come first-serve basis and there are no hook-ups.
