  • Double Pony Truss Bridge

    Double Pony Truss Bridge (ND)

    This rare Double Pony Truss Bridge was recently restored. An interpretive sign on the site offers a glimpse of early life in Lamoure County.

  • LaMoure County Courthouse (ND)

    This stately landmark dominates the beautiful view of the valley with a large domed roof that is impressive from any direction. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the story of how the courthouse came to be is as rich and interesting as any.

  • LaMoure County Memorial Park

    LaMoure County Memorial Park (ND)

    Located 5 miles north of Grand Rapids, nestled in the James River Valley, you will find the LaMoure County Memorial Park. The Park features many attractions, including being the home of the LaMoure County Summer Musical Theater since 1972. In addition, you can enjoy the county museum, camping and picnicking facilities, playground area, tennis courts, and ball diamonds. Neighboring the park you will find one of the best 9-hole golf courses in the area.

  • Red Wing Paddleboat (ND)

    Built in 1914 and used on the James River for a time, this paddleboat was restored in 1971 and now rests near the James River at LaMoure for the public to enjoy.

    Toy Farmers Museum (ND)

    This museum is in a restored barn, which was built in 1914, and houses display cases with many collectibles, including Lowell Davis’ sculptured barns and farming scenes, among many others.
