• The majority of public facilities are accessible, including Edisto Beach State Park, the Chamber of Commerce, Welcome Center, Edisto Bookstore and gas stations/restrooms.
• Edisto Beach State Park offers the state’s longest system of accessible trails.
• Both local library branches and the island’s three shopping centers are accessible.
• Six public access points for Edisto Beach are handicapped-friendly and the Fire Department has beach wheelchairs available.
