Best Time to Drive

Visit in spring and fall to witness bird migration and enjoy mild weather or come for a specific migration, such as Bald Eagle roosting in mid-winter.

High Season

The parkway supports Salt Lake City metropolitan commuter traffic making the road busier at rush hour, but heavy traffic and delays are uncommon.
