Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway
Tiger Bay State Forest, FL
The 27,383 acre Tiger Bay State Forest is a major link in an important wildlife corridor for species listed as endangered, threatened or of special concern. The forest is named for a large wetland known as Tiger Bay. Roaming habitat is available for the Florida black bear as well as nesting and foraging areas for bald eagles. The forest has an equestrian campground with corral, primitive campsites, hiking trails, and allows fishing and hunting in season.
