Town of Cumberland Gap, TN
The Town of Cumberland Gap, TN is a historic village on the National Register of Historic Places that features a very intact brick-structured commercial area with shops, dining and B&Bs in the surrounding streets. The town was established in 1803 and was known as ‘The Gateway to the West’. It was a main center for trading on the Wilderness Road and the subsequent Dixie Highway. It is the southern gateway to the National Park.
