East Tennessee Crossing
Historic Dandridge, TN

Dandridge is a historic village with well-preserved 19th-century architecture and a history that reaches back to the 18th century when Davy Crockett lived in the area. The downtown offers a historic walking tour, a one-man show on Crockett during the tourism season, views of Douglas Reservoir from the dike that the community successfully lobbied Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt to fund when the TVA built Douglas Reservoir. There is dining, gift shops and plenty of character.
