Getting to the Byway

There is one direct route and two alternate, scenic sources of access to the WNYSSB.

• It be reached from US Route 90 (The NYS Thruway). The NYS Thruway provides an entry to US 219. Take a journey going South on US 219 to the NY 39 exit. Travel east into the Village of Springville, and after enjoying the visit, continue to NY 240. Proceed North on NY 240 and your destination will be the Village of East Aurora. Proceed from East Aurora west on NY 20A and you'll reach the village of Orchard Park.

• The two alternative routes provide the ability to closely observe and take in the byway experience. Exit US 219 at US 20A. This is the way to Orchard Park. Continue east into the center of the Village and two choices can be made. Continue east on US 20A to East Aurora. Take in the Village and then make your way south down NY 240 to Springville, or at the center of Orchard Park take NY 277 and travel through Orchard Park, Boston, and then via the Springville-Boston Rd, to NY39 and a return to Springville. The alternative routes provide the advantages of travel at a leisurely pace and numerous stops to effortlessly visit.
