August 3, 2005 - Saint Cloud and Red Wing, MN, Are Preserve America Communities!

Congratulations to the Great River Road cities of Saint Cloud and Red Wing, who were recently designated as Preserve America Communities.

“Preserve America is a White House initiative that encourages and supports community efforts to preserve and enjoy our priceless cultural and natural heritage,” [said] First Lady Laura Bush… the Honorary Chair of Preserve America. Saint Cloud and Red Wing were two of 24 US cities receiving the designation this year, and the first two Minnesota cities to receive the designation.
