August 17, 2005 - "See America Corner" Opens in Venezuela

The first U.S. Cultural and Tourism office in Latin America was launched in late July in Caracas, Venezuela. Nicknamed “See America Corner,” the tourism office is the first stand-alone business dedicated to providing the general public with travel and cultural information on the SeeAmerica.org. A reception to celebrate the launch of the tourism office was attended by U.S. Ambassador in Venezuela Bill Brownfield, officials from the U.S. Commercial Service and local tourism authorities.
