Celebrate the statehood of Nevada and commemorate the 200th birthday of Abraham Lincoln at the Nevada Day Celebration in Carson City, Nev., near Lake Tahoe - Eastshore Drive. Planned events include a pinewood derby, parade, the 33rd Annual World Championship Single Jack Drilling Contest, balloon rides, and more. Nevada Day is on Oct. 31.
