December 31, 2009 - Annual Polar Plunge on the Lakes to Locks Passage

Last year, over 800 people braved the frigid waters of Lake George in the annual Polar Plunge. Registration for the Plunge starts at 10:30 am Jan 1st, with the actual icy dip occurring at 2 pm at Shepard Park Beach in Lake George, NY.

There will be a Post Plunge Party at Duffy’s Tavern immediately following the dip into Lake George.
