March 5, 2010 - Bridge Crossing Jubilee on Selma to Montgomery Byway

Re-enact one of the most famous voting rights movements in history on the first weekend in March at the Bridge Crossing Jubilee on the Selma to Montgomery Byway in Alabama.

Sponsored each year by the National Voting Rights Museum & Institute in conjunction with 21st Century Youth Leadership Movement, and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the Bridge Crossing Jubilee is a street festival of music, art and history. In addition, the Jubilee is the celebration and commemoration of the right to vote.

The march takes place at the foot of the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. It runs March 6 through March 13, 2010.
