March 5, 2010 - Weekend of Winter Wonders on Logan Canyon Scenic Byway

This Friday and Saturday, March 5-6, come to the Logan Canyon Scenic Byway in Utah for a fun-filled weekend of winter activities.

On Friday, visit the Stones Nature Center at 10:00 am for the Parent Tot Nature Hour, where kids ages 2-3 can participate in crafts and games. Register by emailing nature@logannature.org.

Be sure to check out the sixth annual K9 Challenge Sled Dog Race this Friday and Saturday at the Sinks. Races start at 8 a.m. with teams of four, six, and eight dogs.

On Saturday morning, head to the Stokes Nature Center at 10:30 am for a family snowshoeing activity, where you and the kids will search for animal tracks and design snow furniture. To sign up for this event, email nature@logannature.org.
