March 5, 2010 - German American Heritage Center Opens New Exhibit on Great River Road

Come to Davenport, Iowa on the Great River Road to the German American Heritage Center for the new exhibit: “Amana Colonies: The Move to City Life.” This is the first exhibit in the center since its renovation in October of 2009. It opens March 5, 2010 and includes artifacts and life stories of people that came to America from Germany.
