Maria on June 10, 2009 (traveled on August 1, 2004)This is one of the coolest byways I have been on. It's not only beautiful but there is so much interesting history there. We traveled the entire length on a motorcycle (actually started from Delaware). When we stopped at different areas, you could actually walk down or see the original paths that were walked.
fcrvind on November 14, 2008 (traveled on April 3, 2008)We have traveled 49 states by RV in the 36 years we've been married, and for the first time this spring drove the Natchez Parkway. It was a true pleasure to drive the parkway at a leisurely pace and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. Although we didn't camp on the... [more]
subcommander on March 12, 2008Looked like we were in a fifties luxury car commercial. We went to some president's house I didnt know, here he started our democracy freedoms, public voting, and anti "bank owns all" national treasury thing.

w1r1n1 on December 23, 2007 (traveled on December 29, 2006)We travel in a RV from NY to Texas each winter. I always try to go by way of the Natchez Trace. It's 444 miles of relaxation. Very little traffic, Very few red lights or stop signs and great scenery. It's a tremendous improvement over the Interstates.

wge on April 2, 2006 (traveled on March 31, 2006)Made many stops. Great historical trip. Learned much about many Indian tribes and the settlement of the USA.
realtrack on March 9, 2006The first time I drove down the Trace Parkway was in 1965 before the Natchez Trace was completed, all the way to Nashville, TN. We had just moved to Jackson, Mississippi, on the Ross Barnett Reservoir, just .5 miles to the Parkway and visitor center, and found part... [more]
gwoo on January 14, 2004 (traveled on August 3, 2003)On one misty, hot Atlanta summer day I decided to hop in my car and drive up to Nashville to see what the Natchez Trace was all about. I was delighted to see how well done it was. It was done much in the way the Blue Ridge Parkway. All of the signs were made of wood... [more]
