Natchez Trace Parkway

We left Stan's Rock 'N' Roll Bike Shop at 1:00 from Natchez, MS. Rode out the Natchez Trace Parkway for 25 miles and back. Pedaling for a Cure fund raiser. Part of Team Moosestrong efforts to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. Great ride, beautiful scenery and fantastic company.

I decided to challenge myself by walking the entire Nachez Trace Parkway from Nashville, TN to Natchez, MS.
I am currently at mile post 348 (8 miles to the AL stateline). My husband crews for me. I am enjoying every step I take. I am 71 years old.

This is one of the coolest byways I have been on. It's not only beautiful but there is so much interesting history there. We travel in a RV from NY to Texas each winter. I always try to go by way of the Natchez Trace. It's 444 miles of relaxation. Very little traffic, Very few red lights or stop signs and great scenery. It's a tremendous improvement over the Interstates.
