A Traveler's Experience

We followed the AAA-recommended 'shortest route' to Minnesota through Yellowstone via Hwy 212. That was all we knew about it. As we climbed steadily higher we noticed tall sticks beside the road. Those were because of the snow depth in winter so they can find the road. Once at 'The Top of the World' resort we just kept going higher. "Oh, look at the snow!" Before long, we were at the snow and the kids all ran and played in it. We were all driving along, loving the alpine meadows, when my cousin looked out the car window. We were really "at the top" and she suddenly became terrified of the height. She remained afraid for the next two hours till we finally reached the bottom. I was laughing myself to tears. We drove down the mountain at about 15 miles per hour. It was worth the drive, but be careful if you are afraid of heights.
