A Traveler's Experience

The Kaibab Plateau-North Rim Parkway is the only way to get to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and it's a nice drive. The North Rim is much less visited than the South Rim, but that means it's less crowded. If you want to hike, but don't want to go into the canyon, there are several moderate trails on the North Rim providing not only scenic views, but archaeological interest as well. The park drives here are just as enthralling as on the south rim. Plus, there is easy access to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks in Utah. If you travel across northwest Arizona coming or going, be sure to visit Pipe Spring National Monument.

What a awesome ride. You could definitely feel the temp change with all the different elevations. Next time I'll not ride so much and enjoy exactly where I am.
