A Traveler's Experience

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Payette River Scenic Byway while deployed to the Payette National Forest to fight wildfires in 2000. It was an amazing trip up the narrow valley. The views are spectacular. I was riding in a chartered bus so I could look all I wanted but if you are driving it will definitely be tough to keep your eyes on the road. If you ever get a chance to see this area make sure you do. You won't be disappointed.
