Lakes to Locks Passage (NY)

I took a road trip to the Adirondack area in late September 2005 hoping to do some fall "leaf peeping". Unfortunately, the fall colors were late that year and the leaves were only just starting to turn. Nevertheless, the sights along the Lakes to Locks Passage were very enjoyable.

Fort Ticonderoga was a lot more interesting than I expected. There is also nice park land there if you want to do some picnicking. Ausable Chasm is absolutely spectacular. Pictures cannot do it justice.
