A Traveler's Experience

My wife and I had a fun time experiencing the Russell-Brasstown Scenic Byway. This was an area she had come to often as a child and when we had the chance to go visit, she jumped at it. We spent some time in Helen (picture is in the town park), we enjoyed the shops and the good old-time foods. Then we headed up the Byway and hiked up to Raven Cliff Falls. It was a beautiful sight. We sat on the rocks and enjoyed a picnic, while taking some pictures, before we hiked back out. Growing up in the Western United States I'd never thought of the South as having mountains, but after being on this Byway I know that Georgia has mountains and they are Beautiful!
