A Traveler's Experience
born2drive on August 24, 2006 (traveled on July 18, 2006)Beartooth Highway (MT, WY)
The Beartooth Highway is about the most beautiful drive in North America. It is a real find. The drive is one continous gorgeous scene after another without a break. In terms of mileage, this is a short drive, but allow yourself 2.5 to 3 hours to complete the drive.
Another find is Red Lodge, Montana. Located at the eastern entrance to the Beartooth Highway, Red Lodge has a lot of great little shops, wonderful reseraunts and a very cute B&B. Red Lodge is like Aspen and Vail before they were "discovered". Put this drive on your To-Do list. You will not be sorry!
