My family and I traveled the entire Cherohala Skyway. It was beautiful. The leaves were gorgeous and traffic was not difficult as it is most of the time in the Smoky Mountains. We were in awe as we drove above the clouds at Big Junction. The clouds looked as though you could reach out and touch them. Also, Bald River falls is just beautiful and so easily accessible. You simply must go and see for yourself.

tngal55 on August 29, 2007Driving this Skyway is truly that...a skyway. Some points you feel as if you are in the sky looking down on nature in all her glory. If you haven't seen it, you should add it to your list of places to see before you die....it's SO worth it!
