A Traveler's Experience

We wanted to see bears fishing. The last day of our trip we stayed overnight at the Cooper River Lodge. The next morning as we were leaving we asked the checkout clerk if there were grizzlies around fishing. He clandestinely said if we go to the state campground nearby and walk the 300 yards to the river we might see something. We did it and there on the small river were two grizzlies fishing and eating fish. We watched from the bank of the river from about 50 yards for about 30 minutes until the bears were full of salmon and abruptly left. A sight of a lifetime.
