A Traveler's Experience
Bryansway on September 24, 2007 (traveled on September 14, 2007)Pacific Coast Scenic Byway - Oregon (OR)
My brother and I started our journey at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, rented a car and drove up from Port Angeles, WA on Highway 1 to San Diego. The drive was a once in a lifetime experience. That drive has every thing a trip like that should have. The rainforest in Olympic National Park... The endless spruce trees that reach out along the endless beaches... The sunsets at the seaside, where you couldn't tell where the sun started and the ocean started... Lighthouses on jagged cliffs... Elephant seals, basking in the sun. Take the time and take the drive, and be a part of this great natural resource that is still available for us to view.
