A Traveler's Experience

This is one of the coolest byways I have been on. It's not only beautiful but there is so much interesting history there. We traveled the entire length on a motorcycle (actually started from Delaware). When we stopped at different areas, you could actually walk down or see the original paths that were walked.

ssmith on May 1, 2011 (traveled on April 23, 2011)We left Stan's Rock 'N' Roll Bike Shop at 1:00 from Natchez, MS. Rode out the Natchez Trace Parkway for 25 miles and back. Pedaling for a Cure fund raiser. Part of Team Moosestrong efforts to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. Great ride, beautiful scenery and fantastic company.

I am currently at mile post 348 (8 miles to the AL stateline). My husband crews for me. I am enjoying every step I take. I am 71 years old.
