A Traveler's Experience

While motorcycling over the Beartooth, I punched two holes in the sidewall of my motorcycle's rear tire. It went down right at the Top of the World store. Lucky for me another rider had a plug kit and air compressor.
As we were trying to fix the tire a thunder and lighting storm rolled in and stayed the rest of the afternoon. We pulled out in a light rain to get off the mountain before dark. As we reached the crest it started sleeting and snowing on the road with gusts of wind around 40 to 50 mph in places. It took almost 3 hours to get to Red Lodge, MT in 1st and 2nd gear.
As we rolled into Red Lodge and stopped for the night, the tire started leaking again. Bone Daddy's Cycle Shop in Red Lodge was able to replace the tire the next day in about an hour's time and put us back on the road. I have many thanks to Sonny and Bone Daddy's, they did a great job and at a great price (did not try to rip me off; even though they could have charged an arm and leg, they didn't.)
