We've driven this area several times since my Seabee days in 1966 and it is the most memorial drive I've ever been on. It is absolutely beautiful and there is no place in America like it. Can't wait to get back out there. I think it's more enjoyable going north to south as most turnouts are on the ocean side. Last time we did it we had our convertible and I'd highly recommend that mode of transportation.
