Merritt Parkway (CT)

The Merritt Parkway is a stunning drive. Forget about Interstates and drive through Connecticut on the Merritt. The road takes you through very beautiful countryside, particularly in the Fall, when all of the trees are decked in their autumnal colours, and the great distinction is the variety of bridge architecture; no two bridges crossing the road, which are all stone built, are the same. In either direction, this is a treat not to be missed !
