Arizona's Red Rock Scenic Byway is known for its beautiful red rocks and gorgeous monoliths. As you travel the byway, you will also come to understand why the area is widely known for its unforgettable golfing experiences. Whether you are a veteran golfer or are just trying your hand at the sport, come golfing along Red Rock Scenic Byway. There are only three public golf courses in Sedona and Red Rock Country and each one is either right along or just off the byway.

Travel less than a mile from the byway and you will find the charming garden-style executive course at Canyon Mesa Country Club. This 9-hole course boasts that it is Sedona's best kept secret. Its beautiful red rock scenery makes the ideal backdrop for golfing beginners or others to brush up on their short game play.

As you enter the greater Sedona area, you will find the Sedona Golf Resort. The resort is located on the byway and is easily accessible to the public. This exceptionally challenging 18-hole, par 71 course winds in and around emerald green fairways with incredible red rock views.

The area's oldest -- and most lushly landscaped -- course is the 18-hole, par 72 championship Oak Creek Country Club, home of the Sedona Open. This player-friendly course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr., consists of 145 beautifully landscaped acres including three lakes and stunning red rock views.

Golfing on the courses along one of Arizona's All-American Roads will be enough to awe and challenge you. Stop at any of the public courses and you will be greeted with fantastic views and pro shops that offer equipment and cart rentals. Satisfy the golfer in you and swing your clubs in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Whether at Sedona Golf Resort, Canyon Mesa Country Club, or Oak Creek Country Club, Red Rock Scenic Byway is a great place for you to golf.
