Running parallel to the byway, Quartzville Creek is a gem of outdoor recreation. Go fishing, hike some of the nearby trails, or just enjoy the sun and look for the two pairs of Bald Eagles that live in the area.

Your byway journey ends in the Willamette National Forest. Set up camp in any one of the developed campgrounds in the forest, and spend the weekend hiking, swimming in any of the lakes in the forest.
